Leonardi SABA Dressing, product of Italy. SABA is the sweet reduction of grape must simmered in copper kettles over an open flame and cooked down to one-third of its original volume. Aged for two years in chestnut and oak barrels, SABA is a pure, sweet, syrupy expression of the Trebbianoor Lambrusco grape. A fruity character, SABA has hints of grapes, plums and raisins. Drizzle over cheesecake, dress a fruit salad, serve it on panna cotta, use in marinades or serve over ice cream.
